On December 19, 2020, a member of our community, and generous supporter, Jim Hurtubise and his family, hosted an AMAZING event benefiting Pappy’s Pantry. We are so incredibly grateful and blessed! His words are below:
Hanover Patriots Community, from the bottom of our hearts, my wife & I would like to say, "Thank you!" for all of your support, your children's screams of excitement, and generosity last night for Pappy's Pantry! We opened the night in prayer at 5:30 and said, "God you have been where we are about to go and paved the way for us. Allow us to be your hands and feet." Well, God is GREAT! YOU donated a TRUCKLOAD full of food &...(get this) $2,200!!!! Every penny is going to building their new pantry vs. out of their own home - just imagine the blessings to come! So many amazing stories came from last night: the man who owns the Christmas house walked down with his donation and then said, "I am cancer free!", a young girl donated $10 and decided on the spot that tonight was her Compassion project, etc. I share the last picture "Believe In The Magic" because therein lies the secret - YOU are the magic of Christmas. Never let your light run out on the true meaning of Christmas. Be the "why", deliver the "magic", and allow yourself to be "Kringled"! Merry Christmas!
